From Fiumicino Airport
By train. Once at the arrivals area of the Fiumicino Airport, go to the railway station and take a train going to Roma Termini. There is one every 30 minutes (at 6 and at 36 min. past the hour). Train tickets cost EUR 11 and must be purchased at the ticket office located in the train station or at the vending machines. Tickets must be cancelled at the yellow machines on the train platform before boarding the train. This train has no intermediate stops. The duration of the trip is approximately 40 minutes. Once at the train station, you can walk to the conference venue.
By taxi. Taxis are available at the international arrivals area. The cost to reach the city center is approximately 40 EUR.
From Ciampino Airport
By bus. At the arrivals area of the airport you can see some bus parking spots. There is one bus run by ATRAL that travels directly to the central train station (Termini). The ticket is 4,50 EUR and can be purchased when you board the bus or at the ATRAL desk inside the airport. The duration of the trip is approximately 45 minutes (subject to traffic conditions). Once at the train station, you can walk to the conference venue (see below).
By taxi. Taxis are available at the arrivals area. The cost to reach the city center is approximately 30 EUR.
From Termini train station
You can walk from the train station to the conference venue. The walk is about 1,5 km (map). Alternatively, you can get closer by using the subway. The subway station is located below the train station. Tickets can be purchased at the vending machines or at newspaper stands inside the station. Take subway line A (the red one) in the direction of Anagnina. Get off at Manzoni (after two stops). Follow viale Manzoni in the direction where you see some constructions going on (map). The second street on your right is via Ariosto, where the department is located.
